House Rules
We're so glad you chose Sunset Escape for your Largo getaway! A few simple rules keep this home wonderful for you and for every guest who follows. Thanks for treating it like your own. ☀️
Check-in / Check-out
- Check-in: after 4:00 PM · Check-out: by 10:00 AM
- Early check-in / late check-out is sometimes possible when the night before or after is open. Just ask closer to your dates and we'll let you know either way.
General
- Please be respectful of our property. We've worked hard to create a unique and fun experience for you as our guests!
- If something breaks or is damaged, let us know ASAP. It helps us fix issues quickly for you and for future guests.
- You are responsible for any damage incurred to the house during your stay.
- Toilets are for toilet paper ONLY. No grease down the sink!
- The outdoor string lights are on automatic dusk-to-dawn sensors. If you switch either sensor off, or turn one on manually to use the gazebo power strip, please set it back to "Dusk/Dawn" when you're done so the lights come on automatically for the next guests.
- If you open a window, please close it back up when the A/C is running. An open window with the A/C on just keeps it running without ever catching up.
- The 4th bedroom has its own portable A/C, stored in that room's closet. You're welcome to set it up if you'd like that room cooled, and the step-by-step is in House Tips. Setup is for responsible adults only. While it's running, that window stays closed on the window slider with the safety bar in place. Please switch it off and put it back in the closet before checkout.
- No illegal substances on the property.
No Smoking · No Pets
- Smoking/vaping is PROHIBITED inside. If you smoke outside, please clean up all remnants.
- Absolutely no pets allowed.
No Parties
- This house is only for those who booked it. We strictly do not allow parties of any type, and no unexpected guests.
- This home sleeps 10, and the reservation count must match who actually stays.
Quiet Hours (9 PM – 9 AM)
- Please be considerate of our neighbors, especially outdoors and around the pool. This is a residential neighborhood with full-time residents.
Pool
- NO diving. NO swimming alone. NEVER leave children unattended near the pool.
- No food or drink in the pool/water, and absolutely NO glass on the pool deck. Please use plastic cups or cans around the pool area.
- No swimming during thunderstorms. If you can hear thunder or see lightning, please stay out of the water until the storm passes.
- Please keep the backyard gates closed and latched every time they're opened.
- Pool towels are stacked by the back door to the pool area, and they look nothing like the bath towels. Please use those outside and keep the bath towels in the house.
- Please dry off before re-entering the house.
Gas Fireplace & Grill
- Both are for responsible adults only, with the fireplace operated under adult supervision.
- Fireplace: do NOT touch the lava rocks, and NO s'mores or cooking over the fire. Food residue damages the fireplace, and a replacement would be your financial responsibility.
- Grill: the grill is already positioned to meet the county's required 10 ft clearance from the house, so please leave it where you find it. When you're finished, clean the grate with the provided grill cleaner (wet the sponge and it steam-cleans).

Furniture
- Please leave the furniture where you find it, inside and out. The patio and pool deck pieces in particular are placed the way they are for a reason, including safety clearances around the pool.
- If you do move something, please put it back before you leave. That includes any outdoor chairs brought inside, which we ask you return to their original spot.
- Spills happen. Spot clean, or just let us know.
- Please no eating or drinking in the beds/bedrooms.
Parking
- Park in the driveway only. Please don't block neighbors or park on the grass.
The Bottom Line
- This is our house, not a hotel. We've poured our heart and soul into it. Please treat it and the neighborhood with respect.
- The cleaning service washes linens and cleans bathrooms and surfaces only. They do NOT clean up excessive trash or mess left behind. Your group will be held responsible for damage or excessive mess.
- Violations of occupancy, smoking, or party rules may end the stay without refund.
