Portable A/C
in the 4th Bedroom

The portable air conditioner for this room is stored in the bedroom closet. Setup takes about five minutes.

To be set up and operated by responsible adults.

Roll it out of the closet

The unit is in the bedroom closet and rolls on wheels.
Lay the mat down and roll the unit onto it.
Park it beside the window, hose end facing the window.
The hose and window slider are stored with it. If you can't find them, message us.

Set the window slider in the window

Open the window. Stand the window slider in the opening, then lower the window onto it.
The slider pulls out to length, like a trombone slide. Extend it until it fills the opening.
The window slider should fit snugly in the window opening to prevent outside air from getting in.
Stand the safety bar in the window channel, on top of the closed lower window pane, up against the top of the frame. Press the button on its side to adjust the length until it sits firmly.

Connect the hose

Push the round end of the hose into the opening on the window slider.
Slide the square end down into the track on the back of the unit until it sits flush.

Plug it in and turn it on

Plug into the wall outlet, on the wall to the right of the window. Not a power strip or extension cord.
Press power. Set the temperature with the up and down arrows.
